Salsa Trip to Cuba Summer 2019

Travel to Cuba this summer and discover the salsa roots, enjoying the best-known Cuban rhythms. We will take you to discover a bit of this beautiful island, our trip combines incredible landscapes and paradisiacal beaches.

DAY 01: HOME – HAVANA

Flight departure to Havana.

Arrival and transfer to the hotel / private house.

Accommodation.

DAY 02:  STREET DANCE

In the morning, we will visit the Callejón de Hamel, a place dedicated to Afro-Cuban culture, where we will enjoy street dancing and dance performances.

In the afternoon, we will have two salsa classes with our local teachers.

At night, we will go dancing, so you can practice all your new steps.

DAY 03: DISCOVER HAVANA AND DANCE

After enjoying a Caribbean breakfast, we will go to the dance school where we will take two salsa lessons.

In the afternoon, we will go to Old Havana and get lost in its streets, visiting the Cathedral and of course, the mythical Bodeguita del Medio.

At night, the best party awaits us so won’t stop dancing.

DAY 04: DAY ON THE BEACH

After breakfast we will go to the beach for the day. Prepare the swimsuit and towel to enjoy a sunny day to the rhythm of the Caribbean.

DAY 05: HAVANA – SOROA- LAS TERRAZAS – VIÑALES

Departure from Havana to Viñales. Before leaving the city, we will visit Plaza de la Revolución. From here, we will start our journey through Soroa and Las Terrazas where we will visit a tobacco plantation before arriving in Viñales.

DAY 06: EXCURSION TO CAYO JUTIAS

After breakfast, our driver will take us to spend the day at the beach of Cayo Jutias, which is an hour away from Viñales.

In the afternoon, we will have a salsa class, so you can practice for the night.

DAY 07: VIÑALES

After breakfast, we will have a tour of the most important places in Viñales. Our driver will take us to all these places and we will have time to visit each one of them.

OPTIONAL: Excursion through the valley on horseback.

In the afternoon we will have an Afro class to learn more about Cuban culture.

DAY 08: VIÑALES – CIENFUEGOS- TRINIDAD

We will leave early from Viñales towards Trinidad. From here, we will go to Cienfuegos where we will eat and we will spend the afternoon before continuing our trip to Trinidad.

* If you choose the 1 week option: Transfer to the airport and return home. Depending on the flight schedule, the previous night you will spend it in Viñales or in Havana. End of your salsa trip with TravelToDance!

DAY 09: TRINIDAD.

In the morning, you will have the opportunity to make several excursions to know the Valle de los Ingenios.

OPTIONAL: Excursion to the Cubano Park. It is a trekking, which includes food and that takes you through the valley to a waterfall where you will have time to swim.

OPTIONAL: Horse rid excursion through the valleye, leaving from Trinidad and arriving also at a waterfall where you can swim. This does not include food.

In the afternoon, we will do a salsa class, before dinner.

At night, we will experience the atmosphere of Trinidad firsthand.

DAY 10: TRINIDAD- PLAYA ANCON

After breakfast, we will have a rumba class. Then you can take the rest of the day off to get lost in the streets of Trinidad, or we can also go to Ancon Beach, which is very close to Trinidad to see the beaches of the south of the island.

DAY 11: TRINIDAD- SANTA CLARA – CAYO SANTA MARIA

We will have breakfast early to take our trip to paradise, Cayo Santa María, taking advantage of our trip to the north we will go through Santa Clara where we will visit the mausoleum of Che and the armored train.

In Cayo Santa María we will stay in an all-inclusive resort because it is the only type of accommodation found in the Cayos. So get ready to enjoy three days of absolute relaxation for you to spend, as you prefer.

DAY 12: CAYO SANTA MARÍA

DAY 13: CAYO SANTA MARÍA

DAY 14: CAYO SANTA MARIA- HAVANA

We will take a bus to the Hotel that will take us to Havana. Your TravelToDance tour leader will indicate the bus schedule.

Last night to enjoy the atmosphere of the city of Havana, where music never stops.

DAY 15: HAVANA- BACK HOME

Transfer to the airport and return home.
