Elli Pettersson

 Elli, from Sweden, brings grace and precision to her dancing. Her feminine flow and tangoesque style, create elegant and beautiful ines on the kizomba floor.

Elli began her dance career with Salsa in 2008. After trying a Kizomba class in 2017, she switched to it and has since immersed herself in the Kizomba world. In 2019, Elli had the opportunity to work full-time as a dance instructor and travel the world with her dance partner. “It gave me the opportunity to further develop my leadership skills, as well as gain an understanding of the role dance plays in different cultures.” Since then, Elli has taught in countries such as the Netherlands, Cuba, Mexico, Aruba, Holland, France, Cape Verde, and others.

Today Elli has classes at iDance and continues to teach internationally. “I like to drill technique and break down the steps to the basics and above all I think it is important to learn how to convey emotion in the dance. In my classes I help you find security in the dance and give you the opportunity to find your own expressions.”
