Oddebi Garcia Fabars

Oddebí García Fabars is recognized as an accomplished dancer and instructor who is deeply rooted in the authentic folkloric traditions of Cuba. His career is closely associated with the renowned National Folkloric Ensemble of Cuba (Conjunto Folclórico Nacional - CFN), where he has served as both a performer and educator, continuing the legacy of Cuba's definitive dances.

A leading expert in the diverse styles of Afro-Cuban dance, Fabars teaches and interprets the foundational elements, from the playful intensity of Rumba (Guaguanco, Yambú, and Columbia) to the complex rhythms and ritual movements of the Yoruba and Congo traditions. As an instructor, he has helped train new generations of professional dancers both in Cuba and internationally, ensuring the integrity and cultural weight of these forms are preserved and passed on.
