Dragana has been dancing bachata for over four years. She took her first dance steps in Belgrade and continued her development in Zagreb through regular training, workshops, and festivals across Europe. She completed her bachata instructor training with Cornel & Rithika, whose ConRi approach strongly shaped her sensitivity, technique, and teaching style.
She has been part of LaTina Dance Studio for four years and became a member of the teaching team during the 2025 season, where she now leads regular classes. Dragana has taught workshops in Croatia and abroad, performed as a guest dancer at various events and festivals, and is increasingly invited as an instructor.
Ivan has been dancing bachata since 2020 and has been part of LaTina Dance Studio from the very beginning. Before dance, he spent over 20 years in climbing as a competitor and coach. People often told him he “danced on the rock,” which gradually translated into movement first through salsa, and then through bachata, where he found greater passion, fluidity, and expression.
In his classes, Ivan blends technique with feeling, focusing on precision of movement as well as sensuality, connection, and leading with awareness of the partner, space, and music. His approach to dance is simple: every movement should have meaning, every figure a breath, and every dance a story.
Together, they teach and dance bachata with a strong focus on solid foundations, connection, and conscious movement. Their approach combines technical clarity with fluidity and expression.
In their work, they emphasize communication, awareness of the partner and the music, and movement with intention so that dance becomes more than a sequence of figures, and transforms into an experience.
