Set up more fans or open skylights, as the air is stagnant in many places.
Better adherence to schedules and shows are really unnecessary.
It wasn’t a day social as announced.

Other countries organize bachata festivals for 150€ per full pass in fancy hotels with proper air conditioning. Amsterdam is not the asshole of the world but the venue certainly sucks. I tried to attend workshops and almost lost my consciousness because of the heat and stuffed air. On the second day my body refused to go there. And on the third day I made myself to come for 1 more workshop and couldn’t stay any longer. Saying nothing about the parties…
Secondly, it should be possible to purchase tickets for workshops and parties separately. On one day you want to do workshops, on another day party. Lots of people are too tired after workshops to attend the party. Not fair at all what you do!

Pros:
- high level due to high number of teachers and J&J dancers compared to regular guests
- good size for my taste (small)
-all demos in the same room

Cons:
- way too hot!!! (no air con, not enough fans)
- no real day social (they just played music in the parking area, no shade, no welcoming atmosphere)
- schedule and dress codes were published only the week before (bad for planning the trip ahead)
- all in all overpriced

It's the third time I attend this event.
Positive: the quality of the workshops and the wide diversity of artists attending, the great concert on Sunday (Pinto Picasso this year) and the friendly people.
To improve: the majority of the events in Amsterdam take place at CanDance studio... which becomes too tropical in summer... I usually don't sweat but here... I was ashamed that drops of sweat were flowing on my face... In 3 years of dancing, attending more than 30 festivals in Europe... I never experienced that... Although I know the organizers tried to mitigate that, it was not enough...
