Esencia Nights

Very nice festival overall.
The classes were fantastic and the artists wonderful !
The place for the day social was very nice, although a bit crowded at times, and a bit far away from the casino.
Maybe having both the Atics and the Melia hotel bar simultaneously would allow people to go to the social for an hour in between two classes.

One last thing that I think could be improved : after one of the shows at night the presenter spent a lot of time presenting all the guys of the group, asking where they were from etc, which was nice, but the presentation of the ladies was much quicker and expedited. I think that's a shame, as they deserve the same attention as the guys. Next time, please tell the presenter to be more balanced in his use of time. I was not the only one in my group to have noticed that and I think it would benefit the whole dance community to pay more attention to this sort of thing.
After all, there is no bachata without our dear followers :)

Anyway, I'm eager to participate to the next edition of Esemcia Bachata !

Bailes en aire libre en carpa.

+ The workshops I experienced was great! (Except for Valerie & Magdalena, they talked so much).
(It would be really nice to have half an hour dance practice after each workshop, so to practice the move that had just been taught. It would mean less workshops but I would remember/learn more).
- It would have been nice with some cozy setup of the chairs at the parties. It did not feel chill to sit and have a drink.
- The parties started too late for my Scandinavian taste: 21/22 would be good.
- It would have been nice if the DJ had played bachata while waiting for the delayed show to start. We lost 1,5-2 hours dance there. Optimal is to both have a room for shows and one for party.
+ I loved the couples in the shows, and the host!
+ The Attics was great!
- the dance floor in Draco club was dangerous with missing pieces and at some point an entire floorboard went off.
+ It is really nice that 2026 is located in Barcelona!! My hopes are high for more dancing on good floors ❤️
