Malta Sensual Weekend

Nice & smaller festival, Highlight was Shama singing live, + rooftop party and night partys, nice place around venue
workshops were good
for sensual weekend the music & workshops had much dominican

Glam Party on Saturday with half of the room sitting in slippers shorts and dirty sweaty T-shirts, drinking alcohol from cheap plastic glasses.

Overal organisation of the even was terrible, would love to have my money back, was not worth it.

The event and organizers were nice and fun, however, for me a 5 star festival is Bachaturo in Poland - the Ferrari of the Bachata festivals. With that in mind, I would give 3 stars to this festival for the following reasons:
-Size of the festival. This is like 10 times smaller than Bachaturo. There is only 1 dance floor during the parties.
- Organization didnt feel professional: after living in Germany/Switzerland where punctuality is a virtue of mutual respect, many things didn't start as scheduled. When in doubt better write a later time.
Also, the parties started a bit late. In Germany/Switzerland/Russia most parties start at 21:00, here at midnight...
Also, I didn't feel there were any famous artist/teachers doing the workshops.
Also, the first day the dance floor was kind of sticky.
Also, the hotel receptionist i asked how to find the festival registration didn't know there was a festival at all and thought i was crazy and there was no sign showing the way (it was setup later)
- Shows and Jack & Jill competition: I really don't care about the shows or competitions and just want to dance like probably many others do. Forcing everyone to watch the shows and competitions is not nice, a second dance floor for those who want to dance during the shows/competitions would be great.

As mentioned, the festival was nice, however, while you can have fun in a 5 star Kempinski hotel and in a 3 star Ibis hotel, those are different levels of quality and you can't put them on the same level.
