Loved the event and cannot believe that this is the first time they are organising it. It was outstanding! Small thing to reconsider - the Jack and Jill competition took way too long and it was during the Saturday social. Would have been awesome to have it between the workshops and the party, so that there is no time wasted and we have move time to rest and get ready. There is no way to physically attend all workshops and show up on time for the pre-party workshop as well. The line-up was great and people wanted to attend it all, which was impossible.

Positives: High ceilings, good parking, many clean toilets, affordable tickets, decent wardrobe, space to chill.

Negatives: Nothing was on time. Nothing. We are talking 30+ minute delays. Not even first workshop of the day was on time. Parties were interrupted by competitions. The international teachers blabbered on for eternities as if though they were giving lectures on theoretical quantum physics - the local teachers were better in this aspect. There was a 1:1 leader:follower ratio for lessons, but many leaders failed to show up for parties, which is difficult to prevent by the organizer.

I would go for the party pass next year (if one was available)

The parties was starting to late in the evening. I had a lot of bad dances with leaders who didn’t took care of the followers and I ended up with a minor back enjure. The workshop was very nice and the teachers was nice to people.
But there was a strange hierarchy between the advanced dancers and the other levels dancers. That’s a shame ?

Work shops were good. I know it was a first event.

I think the rooms were too small. People were smashing into each other in the socials. I think it was a bit too warm as well. And, it was very negative that there was only speakers at the front of the dance floor. When u were at the back the sound was really bad for this reason..
