Strasbourg Bachata Festival 2026
Unfortunately, this festival was disappointing.
* The festival was spread across three different venues: Thursday at one location, Friday and Saturday at another, and Sunday at a third.
* On Friday there were no workshops until 8:00 PM.
* On Sunday there were no workshops until 6:00 PM.
* The Jack & Jill had only one round, which makes the results depend much more on luck.
* The organization was poor. Many activities started late, including the concert, which was delayed by about an hour.
* Security checked bags and required people to leave their water bottles outside, which I found inconvenient.
On the positive side, Shama’s concert was excellent, and I had the chance to dance with the entire Grupo Esencia team, which was the highlight of the festival.
However, if your goal is simply to attend a well-organized festival with a good schedule and value for money, I personally wouldn’t recommend this one. The only reason I’d suggest going is if your main goal is to dance with the invited artists.
