Lento Dance Festival - Vienna Bachata Festival 2025

All in all, the festival was amazing! Great workshops and fantastic venue! So, I don't want to sound too negative but I can't give 5 stars because of the following few issues:
1. High humidity and poor ventilation of the dancing room made people sweaty and sticky. It seems like the AC was working but then maybe a few industrial ventilators would help to elevate it a bit.
2. Second issue: it was a really bad idea to provide styling workshop for followers but no a similar one for leads. What happened was that a lot of follower went to the styling workshop and that created a huge shortage of followers on the partnership workshop running in the second room at the same time. As a result, most of the leads were standing idle without followers and did not learn the movements well enough. This also affected the followers in that group because the leads were not able to provide the competent leading to them. So the entire workshop was disastrous and frustrating..
3. And finally, giving each of the attendant additional bag was also not a good idea as all the given bags were the same, and it was hard to figure out which bag is which. Also, having now two bags instead of one ( the given and his/her own) just added tons of bags placed all over the floor along the walls. It ended up with tons of peoples belongings spread all over the place - shoes, bags, bottles, glasses, etc. creating a very inconvenient space.

The venue was too small, which made th dance floor crowded . Ventilation was an even bigger issue - way too hot and no options to chill unless you go down from the 4 th floor (where the dance floor was) to exit the hotel.
The parties also finished too early compared to the majority of other festivals but the real issue was the size and ventilation of the venue.
On the positive side, the organizers were very kind, the addition of a salsa room on the last evening was also a very good idea and the level of dancing was pleasant
