What I loved:
Very nice atmosphere: a friendly, familiar environment without feeling too crowded. The hotel was lovely, and the complimentary water was much appreciated. And 💜💜 classical bachata dedicated room 💜💜💜
A special thank you for the musicality course! 💜 It was a great addition to the event.
Things to improve:
* Music selection: Sometimes the tracks were more bachata-influenced than actual bachata, missing the essential instruments and characteristic sounds of the genre. For me, this made some songs feel a bit flat and less engaging. I would have appreciated a more authentic bachata selection.
I also believe that musical connection and emotional connection on the dance floor don’t necessarily mean choosing more mainstream or crossover music. Authentic bachata can be just as powerful, expressive and full of connection.
* Paper wristbands: Unfortunately, mine was already falling apart after just two hours. A more durable material would definitely be preferable.
