Do you want to practice your favourite dance during your holidays and want to get to know Barcelona?

Dare to spend a week in this wonderful city that will not leave you indifferent.

Situated on the shores of the Mediterranean, Barcelona is a cosmopolitan city full of history, since it was founded by the Romans in the 2nd century BC. Numerous monuments, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, medieval quarters and even Roman ruins are preserved. Known worldwide for being the center of Modernism with Antoni Gaudí and Lluis Domenech i Montaner among other great artists of the time.

Strolling around Barcelona is to enjoy each of its corners, in the background the sea, pedestrian streets in the oldest neighbourhoods, large stately avenues in the centre, and hidden gardens.

Barcelona also has numerous viewpoints from which you can enjoy spectacular views of the entire city. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy Catalan gastronomy, as we will take you to taste the best dishes.

But in addition to enjoying the charms of Barcelona during the day, at night we will take you to the best parties to enjoy dancing in Barcelona, whether you are a salsa, bachatero or kizombero, Barcelona nightlife has a great offer for dance lovers of all styles.

We will choose the best parties for you this week, so that you can enjoy dancing in Barcelona to the fullest.

For salsa lovers, you can dance any style, Cuban salsa or salsa online, and there are also some parties for mambo dancers. In Barcelona you can go dancing any day of the week, so you can enjoy the best sessions.

Travel itinerary to Barcelona

DAY 1: BARCELONA

Upon your arrival at the hotel, our TravelToDance escort will be waiting for you to check in and confirm your meeting time with the rest of the group.

We will visit the neighborhood where we are going to stay all week to familiarize you and also indicate the place where we will do salsa, bachata and kizomba classes. The dance academy is close to the hotel, a 15-minute walk away.

DAY 2, 3, 4 and 5 : BARCELONA HISTORY AND DANCE >

After breakfast at the hotel we will take two dance classes, our teachers will tell us the schedules of the classes and the styles we will dance each day. After lunch we will have several visits organized each day so you don't miss anything. You will have the option, if you wish, to enter many of the sites we will visit. Let us know if you are interested in visiting a site, and we will give you availability and prices.

DAY 6: EXCURSION TO MONTSERRAT

We will spend the day in the mountain of Montserrat, located 60 km from Barcelona. There we can visit the Royal Basilica where the Virgin of the Moreneta, a black virgin carved in the 12th century, is located.

DAY 7: BARCELONA AT YOUR RATE>

Free day to enjoy your last hours of this magnificent city and do some shopping if you wish. We will make sure you have a place to store your bags if your return flight is in the afternoon.

The detailed programme may vary for climatic or operational reasons. Due to these reasons, the services offered may be subject to change of day or order, but the provision of the same is guaranteed whenever possible.

Trip prices and booking conditions >

The price per person in double room with double bed is 630€ and includes bed and breakfast.

There is a supplement in twin room (2 beds) of 60€ for the whole week per room. (This pass must be booked directly with TravelToDance).

Extra charge per person in single room with bed and breakfast of 375€ (This pass must be booked directly with TravelToDance).

The trip is guaranteed when a minimum group of 8 people is reached. If the minimum is not reached, a supplement may be paid for the trip.

INCLUDES

- Travel insurance.

- 6 nights accommodation in double room.

- 8 dance classes divided into salsa, bachata and kizomba.

- All the visits and walking tours described in the itinerary, without tickets.

- Excursion to Montserrat.

DOES NOT INCLUDE

- Airline tickets.

- Lunches and dinners not mentioned in the section on includes, nor personal extras.

- No entrance to night dance clubs or excursions not described in this section are included.

- Transportation to get around the city (metro, taxis, etc.)

- Nothing that is not described in the section INCLUDES.

If in your free time you want to take a tour not mentioned above, tell the TravelToDance team and we will offer you availability and prices.

Important Information

- DOCUMENTATION: It is necessary to have a valid ID and/or passport. To avoid surprises, please make sure you check the expiration date before you travel.

- MINIMUM AGE: 18 years old

- HEALTH: No vaccination is necessary. But don't forget to bring your health card.

- WEATHER: In August the temperature is around 22-35 degrees Celsius. It is usually quite hot, so bring summer clothes and don't forget your swimsuit, we have a swimming pool in the hotel.

- CURRENCY: Euro

- LANGUAGE: Spanish, Catalan and English in the most tourist areas and establishments. The tour will be mainly in Spanish.

- SAFETY: Barcelona is a fairly safe city and it is recommended to take the necessary precautions of common sense, such as keeping your wallet and not neglecting phones or cameras.

- ELECTRICITY: 220V

- TIPPING: Get used to leaving between 5%-10%.

- DANCE SHOES: The salsa atmosphere in Barcelona takes good care of its dance floors, so if you want to bring dancing shoes to go out you can do it, but if you don't bring them, nothing happens. There are people who use them to go out dancing, especially girls, but there are many who don't.

Special shoes are not required for dance lessons, but you can wear them if you wish.

Strong> How to book your trip? >

You must make a payment of 150€ and we will reserve your place for you for 15 days días (if this time is not incompatible with the rest of the booking).

When the group is formed with the traveler's mínimo we will contact you to make the payment for the rest of the trip. (the 150€ reservation fee is restarán of the 50% amount). At this time, if your destination requires it, we will ask you to provide us with a photo of your passport. The total payment for the trip is always realizará 1 month before the start of the trip.

If you want to book a trip that has the scheduled departure in less than a month and the group confirmed, deberás pay 100% of the final price.

15 días before departure we will send you the documentación travel, itinerary, tickets in case we have processed them, combined travel contract and travel insurance.

The price of the trip does not include flights.

In TravelToDance they can process the flights, which will have to be paid in full before the broadcast.

Tickets will not be issued until group confirmation, unless participants agree to pay a supplement if the minimum group is not formed.

We recommend that, as far as possible, you try to buy your flights as early as possible in order to get the best timetables and prices.

The booking of 150€ will be fully refundable during the 15 day duration of the booking if you decide not to travel.

The rest of the payment that is paid with the confirmation of the group will not be refundable when there is one month left before the departure date, when you have to make the final payment.

If you decide not to travel at this time, you may still be able to get your reservation back if you give your place to someone else who is not already enrolled in the travel group.

In the event that we are unable to transfer your place, we will have to consider, in each case, with our suppliers at the destination, which services we can cancel without charge.

Any cancellation will have a charge of 100€ for bank and management fees.

Cancellation of flights is always subject to the terms and conditions of the airline and not TravelToDance.
