Danstylo

Danstylo was born 30 years ago in the Santutxu district of Fica Street.

His first steps were: modern and classical dance classes, "Today called Pilates" stretching gymnastics, without specific apparatus, Sevillanas and ballroom dancing.

Little by little we have specialized in Classical Ballet that has given us more satisfactions, since it is the base to dance other modalities.

Throughout these years many students have passed through and we would like to highlight with love and pride Jon Ugarriza, Juanjo Rodríguez and Adriana Álvarez.

The first two scholarship holders of the Vizcaya Provincial Council chose dance as their profession.

Jon continued his studies with Víctor Ullate and has danced in different prestigious companies such as: Ballet de la Comunidad de Madrid Victor Ullate, Ballet de Zaragoza, English National Ballet, K-Ballet Company (Tetsuya Kumakawa Japan), National Company of Portugal, Ballet Der Deutsche Oper Berlin, Ballet Der Staats Oper Berl´n and Ballet Basel in Switzerland. I dance, for the last time in her homeland, in the Euskalduna theatre with her own choreographies. He is now a renowned Artistic Director, Choreographer and Professor of professional dancers.
