Description

Potato Head Jazz Band is a band of traditional jazz that offers a

careful staging. Its intelligent combination of music, acting,

instruments, voices and good humour to form a show, communicative

invites the public to interact so energetic and fun.

Banjo, double bass, clarinet, drums, saxophone and trumpet come together to provide a unique show starring the painstaking work that is dedicated to each and every one of its aspects: the music, the staging, the costumes and the instruments.

The repertoire, consisting of topics such as Sweet Georgia Brown (1925), Indiana (1917), Dippermouth Blues (1923) or When the Saints Go Marching In (traditional), makes the show becomes an intense journey for the traditional jazz that has a duration of between 90 and 120 minutes. So, Potato Head Jazz Band gives a performance in which the audience, almost without realizing it, it feels like in the city of New Orleans of the years ’20, where the rhythm is contagious and the invitation to participate is inevitable.
