Mixael Cabrera Caballero, originally from Botín, Sitio Grande, Cifuentes, Villa Clara, Cuba, was born on 3 July 1983, better known as "El Sonero de la loma del Botín".

Singer-songwriter, tres player and producer, he belongs to the new generation of Cuban musicians who are committed to preserving the most authentic elements of their culture (Sonido, bolero, changüí, chachachá, rumba, timba).

From an early age he participated in various festivals in his native province, under the influence of his grandfather Isidro Cabrera. Later he entered the Centro Provincial de Superación para la Cultura "Ángel Román González Borrell" in the province of Villa Clara, obtaining the qualification of professional musician in the Cuban instrument Tres. He later joined the groups CENTROSON and VILLAGRANM.

In 2016 he released his first album "LLEGÓ LO QUE TE GUSTA", produced and recorded in Barcelona (Spain), where he is singer-songwriter and tres player in all the titles of this album.

In 2017 he released, produced and recorded in Havana (Cuba) his second album "ORIGEN", and distinguished himself with prestigious collaborations such as Pupy y Los Que Son Son or Alexander Abreu y Havana D'Primera.

In 2019 he composed and produced his third album "EL SON SE VISTE DE GALA" in Barcelona, and in 2021 he embarked on a double album produced and recorded in Mexico City, Havana (Cuba) and La Loma del Botín (Cuba), entitled "LO MEJOR DE MÍ", whose first volume will be released the same year.

In 2022 Mixael Cabrera releases the second volume of the album "LO MEJOR DE MÍ - VOL.2" recorded with the best representatives of Cuban son such as Pancho Amat, Dayron Ortega, Renesito Avich, Julito Padrón and Eduardo Silveira (Los Van Van).

Mixael Cabrera is probably one of the most renowned and versatile artists of Cuban music in Europe for his masterful interpretations of Son, Changüí, Bolero, Salsa Romántica, Rumba and Timba Cubana.
The titles "TU SONRISA", "PA' METERLE CON TO'", "LA DUEÑA", "EL SON SE VISTE DE GALA", and "MADRE" were very well received by his public, having great success among music lovers, dancers and salsa lovers in general.
