Are you ready to turn back the clock and bring maximum energy to the dance floor? Welcome to Bachatamania: 80s Retro Edition, the ultimate dance gathering in Hamburg where 80s nostalgia meets the fiery rhythms of Latin and African dance. Whether you are a local Hamburg dancer or visiting from anywhere in the world, this is your invitation to dress up in your favorite 80s outfit, learn new moves, and connect with an amazing international community.
Located right in the heart of the city at Humboldtstraße 9 in Mundsburg—complete with convenient, hassle-free parking—the night kicks off at 6:00 PM with two full hours of parallel workshops: choose between Salsa or Reggaeton from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by Bachata or Kizomba from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Then, from 8:00 PM until 11:30 PM, the main floor opens up for pure social dancing, giving you three and a half hours to show off your style, practice your new steps, and dance the night away.
Tickets are available for just €13 in advance (Vorverkauf) or €15 at the door (Abendkasse)—so grab your neon, get your ticket, and come experience an unforgettable night of music, passion, and retro fun.
