MAYKEL FONTS MASTERCLASSES
March 5, 2027 | Prague
Maykel Fonts returns to Prague at our invitation.
Following his appearance at the first edition of Salsa Festival Prague, we have invited Maykel to join us for the 2nd Latino Magic Ples. Both events are organised by our LatinArte team. This time, you can experience his energy both during the ball and through dedicated masterclasses the day before.
Maykel Fonts brings his distinctive dance style, musical sensitivity and experience from the international salsa scene. His approach connects the richness of Cuban dance traditions with contemporary expression, opening up new ways to experience music and interpret it through movement.
Discover three complementary themes designed to develop your technique, coordination and individual dance expression.
BODY MOVEMENT | Coordination and Expression
Explore your body’s potential and discover how to respond more sensitively to music through movement. Focus on coordination, fluidity and connecting different parts of the body to develop more natural movement, greater confidence and freedom in your dancing.
AFRO-CUBAN FUSION | Afro-Cuban Roots in Salsa
Discover the movement principles of Afro-Cuban dances and their connection to salsa. The rhythm, dynamics and character of Cuban traditions meet contemporary dance expression. Find inspiration to incorporate these elements naturally into your own style.
SALSA CON RUMBA | Playfulness, Character and Musical Interpretation
Explore the connection between salsa and Cuban rumba. Its movement accents, playfulness and expression bring another dimension to your dancing. Discover how to blend both styles and enrich your salsa with greater dynamics and individuality.
Learn directly from Maykel. Develop your style and take home inspiration you can return to throughout your dance journey.
The masterclasses take place on March 5, 2027 in Prague, the day before the 2nd Latino Magic Ples. At the ball, you can enjoy Maykel’s performance, join his dance animations and share the dance floor with him throughout the evening.
The exact venue, schedule and recommended class level will be announced soon.
