WORKSHOP ON STAGE FRIGHT FOR DANCERS
¿Have you ever felt like you know how to dance, but when someone is watching you, recording you on video, or you’re under pressure, something changes? Do you get nervous, compare yourself to others, freeze up, or stop enjoying yourself?
The fear of making mistakes, the gaze of others, high expectations of ourselves, and insecurity can influence the way we dance, even when we have the necessary knowledge and technique.
In this workshop, we’ll explore how emotions influence the way we dance and learn practical tools for managing nerves, insecurity, high expectations of ourselves, and the fear of judgment.
What will we work on?
Recognizing our emotional and physical blocks.
Managing nerves and the fear of making mistakes.
Building confidence and learning to relate to others’ gazes.
Regaining spontaneity and enjoying dance more.
Who is this workshop for?
For dancers of any level and style who want to better understand their emotional blocks and feel more comfortable and confident while dancing, whether in learning environments, social settings, or performance situations.
It’s not about stopping fear so we can dance, but about learning to relate to it in a different way—without letting it limit us or take away our enjoyment.
Three hours to listen to you, get to know you, and provide you with tools you can apply to your dancing and your daily life.
