The Negra Dance Festival 2019, where the 10th edition of the Footwork World Championship "La Negra Salsa" is being held, is now ready for you to enjoy an incredible show with the best dancers from all over the world. You will be able to learn to dance with workshops of all styles and levels and enjoy the Shows offered by the Footwork World Championship.
The festival will take place from 9 to 12 May 2019 at the Hotel Gran Duque 4* in Marina D'Or Ciudad de Vacaciones in Castellón.
The Footwork World Championship "La Negra Salsa" was born in Barcelona - Spain in May 2010 to become a pioneering approach among the international salsa competitions that until now had not given importance to the so-called "shines" or "footwork".
The main objective of our event is to support and stimulate all dancers and dancers who love the genre and to invite them to explore the salsa universe beyond the conventional form of the man-woman couple.
This is why it is an "Open", a competition open to both professionals and amateurs, aimed at individual dancers, same-sex couples or teams who compete in two categories: Male and Female for individual and couples and mixed for the teams and who aspire to separate awards.
