Description

3 years ago in Arenys de mar, we managed to overcome a Guinness motivated by a good cause, to contribute our granite to help children with cancer in the framework of a project led by the Hospital Sant Joan de Deu in Barcelona.
We really liked the experience, and we encouraged to repeat and improve the experience, trying to beat the current guiness bachata record achieved by Greece in 2016.
This time the funds raised will go to a project to help disadvantaged children run by the Red Cross.

Should I go with a partner?

Yes, you must go as a couple and check in together with your dance partner to collect your consecutive race numbers. Couples can be male-female, male-male, or female-female; it doesn't matter, you are free to choose your partner.

What clothes should I bring?

Jeans, long or short, and a black T-shirt. Girls can also wear skirts.

When will we receive the free T-shirts?

On the day of the event when checking in

Where do the funds raised go?

All proceeds from the event will go to a Sabadell Red Cross project.

What time does the Guinness World Record attempt start?

The Guinness World Record attempt for Bachata begins at 12:00 noon, so please arrive early to check in (receive your race numbers, have your photo taken as a couple, and receive your free T-shirt) with plenty of time to spare.

If it rains, will it be canceled?

No, it has taken us a lot to get here, and the rain won't stop us. If the weather doesn't let up, we'll dance in the rain. We kindly ask that you wear black warm clothing (sweatshirts, jackets, etc.) if necessary, so that everyone can be in harmony wearing the same color.
