Freiburg will host the 2nd edition of the Bachata Zouk Royals Festival – a one-of-a-kind event in Germany!
This is the only festival in the country that brings Bachata and Zouk together on a large congress scale, creating a truly unique fusion of these two beautiful dance styles.

The artists, classes and overal atmosphere was amazing!

For me the social dance was a bit heavy on being almost like a Jack and Jill (probably because there were a lot of high level JNJ competitors). Meaning everyone was crushing musicality (which is great) but for me was a little bit too less connection in some of the dances!
Still great dances and great overall festival. Especially because i usually never do workshops because its just figures and not a lot of good dancers joining the classes. These classes were very technique focussed and i felt it really helped my dancing!

The workshops were great, and so were the dancers. However, I missed new Bachata songs; mostly older music was played.
