SALSA FESTIVAL PRAGUE 2026 | THE FIRST EDITION

Prague is getting ready for a new international salsa experience!

From August 21–23, 2026, the FIRST EDITION of Salsa Festival Prague will bring together 300+ dancers from more than 30 countries for three days and nights of dance, music, culture and unforgettable energy in the heart of Europe.

Created with a strong identity rooted in Cuban Salsa, Timba and Afro-Cuban culture, the festival also opens its doors to the wider salsa community with Salsa On1, On2, Mambo, Bachata and other Latin styles.

An outstanding international line-up will bring some of the most exciting names to Prague, including Maykel Fonts, Adonis Santiago, Wilmer & Maria, Charlie & Vero, Hanser & Vilma, Jose Mari & Patri, Jesús Javier & Adéla, Yanedis Daniels, Yatin & Nikol, Patricia Kraus, Martina Drašarová, Salsaholics, Paolo Suárez and more.

Expect a weekend packed with workshops, exclusive masterclasses, social dancing, international DJs, shows and three incredible nights of parties, including the spectacular Saturday Gala Night with a LIVE CONCERT by Cuban star Haila Mompié.

And the best part? Everything happens under one roof. Workshops, parties, shows, social dancing and accommodation come together at Hotel Olympik Congress Prague, creating one meeting point for the entire international salsa community.

Good, small sized cuban salsa festival, with good growing potential. Salsa On2 was basically absent, the workshop was not even real Salsa On2, rather it was some surrogate style. However the Cuban salsa experience and workshops (plus pachanga workshop) were definitely enjoyable.

We truly appreciate your honest observation regarding Salsa On2. As our festival is primarily focused on Cuban salsa, this remains the heart of our concept. Nevertheless, whenever we include another style, we want it to be represented authentically and at the highest possible level. We will carefully review the content and selection of Salsa On2 workshops for the next edition.

From a dancers view we'll organised 5am finish on all three nights. The cuban room was what it said it would be all cuban lots of doing what we come to do and that's dance . All in all highly recommend to those travelling nationally and internationally . Great shows and artists definately would attend again

The hotel is not of a high standard;
it is very old.
We would have appreciated being moved to a higher-standard hotel.
Standard breakfast.

The atmosphere was wonderful.

1. Where is the festival taking place?

The festival will be held at:

2. What does the Full Pass include?

Access to all workshops, all night parties, shows, animations, and the full official program of the festival.

2.1 Which ticket is the best for the full festival experience?

The VIP Pass is the best option for the full experience.

It includes everything from the Full Pass (all workshops, parties and shows) plus exclusive VIP masterclasses, priority access and additional benefits during the festival.

If you want to enjoy the festival at the highest level, VIP Pass is the best choice.

2.2 Are masterclasses included in the Full Pass or VIP Pass?

Masterclasses are not included in the Full Pass.
They are included only in the VIP Pass.

2.3 Can I buy masterclasses separately?

Yes, masterclasses can be purchased separately, but only if you already have a Full Pass.
VIP Pass holders already have access included, so no additional purchase is needed.

3. What does the Party Pass include?

Access to all night parties during the festival (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), Haila Mompié – Live Concert and DJs.

4. Can I transfer my ticket to another person?

Yes. The name change fee is 250 CZK or 10 EUR for FULL PASS or 500 CZK or 20 EUR for VIP PASS and must be requested by email.
The deadline for making the change is August 18.

5. Can I cancel my ticket and get a refund?

No. According to Czech law, tickets for leisure events with a fixed date are non-refundable.

6. Can I resell my ticket to someone else?

Yes, as long as the official name change is completed and the transfer fee is paid.

7. What dance styles are taught at the festival?

Salsa cubana, salsa on2, bachata sensual, son cubano, Afro-Cuban dances, rumba,

8. Do I need to bring a dance partner?

No, it’s not necessary.
Classes include constant partner rotation, and you can also find a dance partner directly on-site.
Coming alone is perfectly fine — many participants do.

9. What should I wear?

For workshops: comfortable dance clothing and dance shoes.
For parties: elegant or themed attire, depending on the night.

10. Will food and drinks be available?

Yes. The hotel offers restaurants and bars. There are also nearby options around the venue.

11. Are hotel rooms available at the same venue?

Yes. The Hotel Olympik Congress offers accommodation in the same building where the entire festival program takes place — workshops, parties, and all activities.

Special accommodation rates will be available for festival participants.
