This summer, while our regular season takes a break, The Backyard Brussels opens a special Wednesday format for beginners and motivated dancers who want to prepare for the new salsa season in September.

Every Wednesday, Victoria & Nikolai will guide you through a friendly beginner salsa class focused on rhythm, basic steps, simple partnerwork, confidence, and social dancing foundations.

After the class, we open the floor for a relaxed social practice where beginners and regular dancers can meet, dance, and enjoy the summer vibe at The Backyard.

Who is this summer program for?

This program is mainly for beginners and people who want to prepare for the new salsa season in September. It is also suitable for dancers who want to review the basics in a relaxed summer atmosphere.

Do I need experience to join?

No. The classes are beginner-friendly and will focus on rhythm, basic steps, simple partnerwork, and social dance confidence.

Who will teach the classes?

The classes will be taught by Victoria & Nikolai, two motivated dancers from The Backyard community.

Will Talal be teaching?

No, Talal will be taking a summer break in July and August. This summer format is led by Victoria & Nikolai under The Backyard Brussels umbrella.

What is included in the ticket?

Each ticket includes the beginner salsa class and access to the social practice after the class.

What is the difference between a drop-in ticket and a pass?

A drop-in ticket gives access to one selected Wednesday.
The July Pass gives access to all 5 Wednesdays in July.
The August Pass gives access to all 4 Wednesdays in August.
The Full Summer Pass gives access to all 9 Wednesdays in July and August.
