Note: This is a light contest, distinct from traditional championships in Poland or elsewhere. **The primary idea and goal of the contest are to promote awareness of bachata social dancing**
**Important Points**

▶️Judging criteria should prioritize the social dancing skills and etiquettes of the contestants rather than solely focusing on their dance level.?

? BINDAAS Social Dancing Contest Format: ? A unique and new concept to enlighten the social skills & etiquettes in the bachata social dancing community.
1. ?? Social Dance with our Judges: Right from round 1 to the finals, participants will be dancing with different judges—both followers and leaders. This showcases adaptability and connection between contestants and judges.
2. ? Skill Levels: Open to all levels except teachers ( who are teaching for more than a year ) and pros. We welcome improvers, intermediate, and semi-advanced dances for the contest.
3. ?warm and Rounds: The competition starts with warm up of contest on Friday at 19:00 which is optional for contestants, round 1 & 2 ( final round) are on Saturday where all contestants dance with one of our judges
4. ? Judging Criteria: Judges evaluate participants based on social skills, etiquettes, musicality, connection, comfortless, and easiness of the dance. The level of the bachata dance is not the key.
5. ? Leader-Follower Dynamics: Emphasizing the ability to adapt to different partners and showcase skills in leading or following through a social dance. So keep it calm, easy and most importantly comfort and adapt to your partner.
6. ? Social Dancing Continues: Social dancing continues while the contest takes place, making it almost unnoticed for people not in the contest. This minimizes stress and pressure on contestants, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.
7. ? Music Genre: The music genre for the contest will be exclusively Bachata Sensual.
8. ? Awards: Prizes are awarded to the top 6 contesters(3 leaders and 3 followers) recognizing their social dancing skills, etiquette , abilities and versatility.
9. ? Feedback: After every round, contestants will receive individual feedback from the judges either orally or in written form, based on time constraints.
10. ? Prizes: The winners of the BINDAAS social dancing contest receives exciting prizes (full passes, party passes for Big bachata festivals of 2024)
11. ? Goal: The goal is to illuminate the importance of social skills and etiquettes in dances, sending a positive message to the bachata community. We believe the competition should be within ourselves, making it a lighter contest where connections, comfort, and good vibes take precedence.
