BachaKizz Sensation 2026 - All in One Bachata & Kizomba Festival
Unfortunately, BachaKizz was very poorly organized.
The entrance situation was chaotic. There were far too few staff members at check in, and we had to wait between 30 and 45 minutes outside in the cold just to get our wristbands. It felt like only two people were being let in at a time, which made the process unnecessarily slow and frustrating.
Once inside, we were charged an additional €10 for the cloakroom, which already felt excessive. On the first evening, bags were not allowed at all, not even small ones. We were not even allowed to bring spare dance shoes unless we wore them on our feet. As a woman wearing a dress, I had no practical way to store the cloakroom ticket if I was not allowed a bag. Was I supposed to dance while holding the ticket in my hand? It was extremely inconvenient.
Every time I needed something from my bag, for example to get my wallet to buy a drink, I would have had to queue again at the cloakroom for around 20 minutes. The cloakroom staff were clearly overwhelmed. At one point I waited five minutes for a bag I had handed in ten minutes earlier, and in some cases they could not even find people’s belongings. It was chaotic.
On the second evening, bags were finally allowed, which shows the initial rule made little sense. I understand not allowing outside drinks, but charging €4 for a 0.4 liter bottle of water is simply overpriced.
Overall, the event was very poorly organized. The second Kizomba room also felt like it was at the other end of the city, forcing people to retrieve their belongings, go outside into the cold, change shoes, and walk over, which was highly impractical.
I would definitely not attend BachaKizz again.
