Malmö Bachata Festival (Sweden) - September 2025
Overall a great experience! Lovely place, good teachers, good parties and friendly people! My only critique is that almost all workshops were about learning long choreographies. None were about theory, even though for example, one was called Musicality which I thought would be about that topic and how to adapt your moves to a song’s different parts, but it was just another long choreography. So really, almost none of the ws was about the topic that it was named as, like ”Connection” (one on Isolations was an exception). Even the lady and men’s styling ws were long choreographies. It would’ve been more helpful to learn shorter parts that one can add to different parts of dancing. Most of us are social dancers and will not do all of these complex choreographies. Therefore, I think there should be a greater mix of ws.
