HOTEL - ALMA BACHATA & KIZOMBA FESTIVAL 2026 – III EDITION
Unfortunately, I had a bad and disappointing experience with the Alma festival. I was promised by the organizer several times, that my hotel expenses will be refunded , but eventually it did not happen. Moreover, I was added to the Alma separate chat for rooms, where I could find a person to replace me, as I had an unexpected issues and could not come. I have lost my air tickets and the full pass. Hoping that I can be refunded at least for the hotel and at the same time help someone to have a room, I asked Alma for help. I let them know about the person, who later paid the full sum and stayed at the hotel instead of me, as a result the hotel charged 2 people for the same place, and I was not refunded at all. If I were rejected in refunding by Alma at first place or did not tell about the issue to the organizer, this person would not be able to purchase a hotel ticket, and my roommate would stay at our room by herself.
Simple "No" from the beginning would be enough, no need to give empty promises. Not mentioning other organizing issues and the hotel experience itself, but as I was not having that personally, but heard from my friends and the person who replaced me at the hotel, I will not give any specific feedback on that.
