Kalalú is an academy in "el Clot" a central district of Barcelona of "Dance with Style and Feeling". We specialize in Latin rhythms such as Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba, but also functional training for all levels (Slow Gym, Tonification and XT29) and Salsation® (Dance within fitness).
The founders are Angelo Maurico Mejia Trujillo, born in Santiago de Cali (Colombia) and Montse González Pérez, born in Villa de Gata, Cáceres (Spain).

Something else from us as Kalalú:
In 2011 they met within the Artistic Company "Fuego en los Pies" (Colombia Salsa Style) and joined as a professional couple of Latin dances, specializing in Bachata to the purest Dominican style.
They have participated in several national competitions such as Bachata Open, Bachata Star Europe and Bachatarte among others, and have been in podium in the qualifiers of their current city Barcelona.
Drivers of Salsa Urbana de Colombia, also known as salsa choke or "chichoky", in Barcelona; carrying out animations and workshops in discotheques, schools, weekend and congresses.
Currently Kalalú remains within the Latin dances, expanding the artistic styles (Salsa Caleña, Salsation®, Merengue, Afro-Cuban) in their shows, workshops/classes and animations.
They have collaborated with renowned artists such as Lucrecia, Mixael & his Team, Junior Jein, Adolescents, Victor Manuelle, among others....
In 2014, Pride Barcelona and the Fira dels Indians in Begur will participate as collaborating animators.
At the present time Angelo and Montse acquire the registration of Kalalú ®, becoming his stage name as a couple. Teachers at various dance schools and continue to train in various styles (folklore, Afro-Cuban, Cuban, ballet...) with the best teachers based in Europe.
