The Escuela de Danza Macarena started its activity in 1982 in the Municipality of Fuenlabrada under the technical direction of Mª José Bravo Pérez, as teacher and Director.
The fundamental objective of the Macarena Dance School is the teaching, conservation and diffusion of Dance.
In its beginnings, only Spanish Dance studies were taught, currently we have six qualified teachers with recognized experience in the careers of: Spanish Dance, Flamenco, Classical Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Music and Guitar.
We also have "leisure" classes, for people who wish to exercise or dance "amateur", sevillanas, flamenco, ballroom dancing, etc.. We present students for examination at the Asociación de Estudiantes de Danza AEDA, of which we are the headquarters in Fuenlabrada. During the course (from September 1 to June 30), we perform in contests, festivals, dance championships in different Spanish cities.
