The Cultural Association of Oriental Dance Alarcos is born with the intention of making known the art of the oriental dance and the diversity of its folklore.
An open association in which all the ideas, proposals and thoughts that all members can contribute to the development of diverse cultural activities throughout the year, such as oriental dance workshops, talks and conferences, parties, dance shows, organization of music and oriental dance festivals, which cover the concerns and general ideas and desires, at the same time enriching and energizing the cultural life of Ciudad Real and its surroundings.
The aims of this Association are cultural around music, folklore and oriental dance.
The Asociación Cultural de Danza Oriental Alarcos de Ciudad Real throughout its history has actively participated in the cultural life of Ciudad Real with demonstrations of oriental dance on several occasions, in the Pilgrimage of Alarcos de Ciudad Real, in the Great Medieval Market, which is held every year, charity festivals, conferences and talks on music, oriental dance and culture, six editions of the Festival of Oriental Dance "DREAMS OF THE EAST" in Ciudad Real, and so on.
One of our challenges is to promote oriental dance as a form of artistic expression and emotional and personal development.
To maintain and sustain all the projects and activities to develop this association needs the help of all those who share its objectives.
