The Dance School of Valladolid is a private dance training centre with a history of over 40 years. It was founded in 1974 by Mariemma, the prestigious international dancer born in Iscar (Valladolid) and whose 100th birthday was celebrated in 2017.
The more than 40 years of experience of the Dance School of Valladolid have given rise to a multitude of training and artistic programmes, from Spanish Dance - with reference to its foundational nature and our Spanish identity - to dance for people with disabilities and inclusive performing arts.
Our students are between 4 and 50 years old (and some more) and some of them even have some kind of disability. Dance thus demonstrates that it is a universal art, not only because it is historical art and of all cultures, but because it is accessible to all people.
