MARES DANZA was born in 2006 with the intention of highlighting dance in Asturias. It offers an innovative pedagogical plan, led by two professionals in Dance Pedagogy and with a long experience, both in Asturias and in different parts of Spain, all this reinforced by teachers with extensive experience.
It began as a small school, but has expanded its facilities to more than 200 students. Located in the centre of Gijón, nowadays, it has become a reference centre for dance in Asturias.
