Guaguancó Festival

Gran concierto, muy bien organizado.

No se oían bien algunos instrumentos ni las voces (cantaban muy bien, pero no se entendía lo que decían). El lugar hacía que retumbara el sonido. Canciones demasiado largas y repetitivas. Aun así, el grupo es bueno y en general lo pasamos bien

I was unable to attend the festival due to a family bereavement.
When he asked for a refund of the room the hotel refused and kept the money. They are very greedy and attached to money. Also for this reason I will not participate in the festival next year. It is not fair that they ask for money in advance to then not care about those who cannot come for serious problems. And pocket the money. The management of this hotel sucks.

The organizer of this "festival" had obviously a definition problem. This was definitely not a festival but rather a congress or a work meeting or a summer school.
Everything highly organized and controlled main focus on workshops and too much time for shows and competition. Definitely party and fun was at lowest priority and only available after midnight. If at least the shows would have been high quality... But for seeing the neighborhood dancing school making a show, I am not willing to pay money.
Additionally it is rassistic to exclude Cubans from participating the competitions. Then it would have been more worth seeing it. At least the music was amazing.
I expected to have four days of party with good music and was totally disappointed.
Only once for about 3 hours music at the pool area and then stopped again to force people watching the competition.
Also at the parties there was no Rumba music ( the event was called Guaguanco Festival, right?)
Definitely I will never ever again visit one of your events and not recommend it to anyone.
