Taking into account all the experiences gained from our previous projects in previous years and seeing how much more we can offer our participants so that they can enjoy themselves more socially and artistically in 2015, we will combine the best of the past with more friendliness and more communication between participants, based on humility, simplicity, and human qualities such as dance.
To this end, we propose to include new dynamics in the workshops, creating a whole joint show full of songs, music, and dances, dances that will highlight good technique, the great possibilities of each dancer, and the power of physical union at its maximum dancing strength.
In 2015, you, your group of friends, and all the groups of timbero friends will put on great shows every night. To this end, the themes of the workshops during the festival will be geared towards this, and we will ensure that everyone, with full confidence in their abilities and performance, participates in all of them. We will include certain aspects of the human body that every dancer should know in order to achieve maximum physical and mental performance. To this end, we will teach vital resources for these achievements, taught by good professionals, aware of the quality of health that is also required to dance with quality, and even more so when it comes to social dances and sharing with others, as the saying goes: "No one can give what they do not have."
It is our commitment for this new Guaguancó 2015 that you discover yourself, both outside and inside, in your human values as dancers, and that you learn the importance of loving one another without pride, based solely on the principles of shared love. For all this, Guaguancó
unites us.
The hotel conditions will be the same as this year, except that check-in will be online and directly at the hotel, where you will have the option of choosing who to share a room with, choosing what type of room, whether double, triple, or even quadruple, with better prices for triples and quadruples, especially for groups of young students and dancers who are unemployed or in serious financial difficulty, whom we do not want to overlook without giving them this wonderful opportunity.
The parties will have specific themes, such as Friday's "Entre la Rumba y el Son" (Between Rumba and Son) and Saturday night's "La Noche de la Timba dura" (The Night of Hard Timba), where dancers will showcase their skills in a 30-minute contest with a special prize for the most timbera couple in the contest. The competitions Buscando al Rumbero, Buscando al Sonero, and Quien me vacuna a mí will continue, but this time all interested parties must reserve online by sending us their application form before June 19, 2015.
There
will also be a children's category dedicated to salsa-loving families who want to enjoy a wonderful vacation and take advantage of the hotel's exclusive facilities with activities for your children while you enjoy all our offerings in 2015.
