The most complete Cuban artist of the urban genre, El Chacal, arrives in Barcelona after 6 years of absence from European stages.
Ramón Lavado Martínez, better known as “Chacal,” is a prominent figure in the recent Cuban musical movement. He has positioned himself as the author par excellence of the urban-Cuban genre that has transcended borders. His intensity on stage and his multiple skills have earned him an immense following on the island and the respect of the musical community. Chacal, considered “The Most Complete” of his generation, achieved international success as a solo artist with projects such as “Chacal & Jakarta”. Her collaboration with DJ IAmChino, Yandel and Pitbull on “Ay Mi Dios” took her to the top of radio charts worldwide, including #1 on Billboard for several weeks. The video for “Ay Mi Dios” has accumulated more than 578 million views on YouTube and has been recognized with a Lo Nuestro Award and an ASCAP award for Best Urban Collaboration. Additionally, the song was nominated for “Latin Song of the Year” at the iHeart Music Awards.
