Y2K DIVAS: A workshop to relive the movement that defined a generation.

Do you recognize Y2K songs… but didn’t know they were part of a whole movement?
The R&B and Hip Hop of the late ’90s and early 2000s didn’t just dominate the charts—they created an aesthetic, an attitude, and a way of expressing ourselves that marked an entire generation.

From around 1998 to 2002/2004, it was an era defined by the rise of hip hop to commercial dominance and a fluid blend of genres between R&B, pop, and electronic music.

R&B productions incorporated hip hop beats and electronic elements, while hip hop adopted catchy melodies and vocal hooks from R&B and pop.

This workshop is designed to help you connect with the groove, flow, and feminine Y2K essence.

What will you experience in the workshop?:

* Reconnecting with your body, sensuality, and movement.
* Beginner-friendly choreography.
* Before the choreography, we’ll have fun with a dynamic warm-up where you’ll learn some basic steps without even realizing it.
