The Escuela de Danza de León began to develop its pedagogical work in 1989 under the direction of Mª Eugenia Nonide and Susana Marbán. The main objective of its directors has been to promote the knowledge and development of dance as an artistic discipline by offering their students a high level of education and the opportunity to show their knowledge and skills both on stage and in court.
